Hosted by an assortment of businesses in Old Towne Orange there will be special promotions, distinctive merchandise, extended hours, refreshments and more.

Shoppers will enjoy pampering and unique holiday gift ideas at the 4th annual “Holiday Memories” weekend shopping spree Friday Nov. 6th through Sunday Nov. 8th. The popular event takes place in Old Towne Orange’s historic Plaza and features hors d’oeuvres, refreshments, extended store hours and giveaways.

Back by popular demand is the event’s Passport Program, giving each guest who visits all 10 participating stores and restaurants a chance to win one of ten $50 gift certificates, or a Grand Prize of ten (10) $50 gift certificates from all participating merchants.

Teresa Trullijo went to last year’s event and plans to go again this year. “A girlfriend and I who don’t see each other much are making a tradition of attending,” says the Buena Park resident who won the grand prize last year.

“We spent the entire day at Holiday Memories, and it was marvelous. It gave us a chance to visit with each other and venture into new stores. The whole event had an embracing ambiance. There was holiday music to put you in the mood and plenty of treats.”

Merchants involved in the Passport Program include: The Dragonfly Shops & Gardens; Café Lucca Restaurant; Heavenly Hostess; Julep’s Home & Floral; Antique Depot; Antique Station; Eikon Home Essentials; Two Sisters; Affaire De Coeur, and Country Roads Antiques & Gardens.

Surrounded by historical neighborhoods and homes and featuring an eclectic mix of shops, boutiques, antique stores, gourmet destinations and exciting new restaurants and cafes, Old Towne offers a unique one-stop shopping experience this holiday season.

Old Towne Orange is located amid the historic Orange Plaza at the intersection of Chapman Avenue and Glassell Street. It is easily accessed from the 5, 55, 57, 22 and 91 Freeways.

Plenty of free parking can be found on Glassell and Chapman, as well as in the large public parking lots located behind the shops and restaurants. « hide
