The XL Center is Connecticut's largest in-door premier sports and entertainment facility. Managed by Madison Square Garden since 1997, the arena is home to the Hartford Wolf Pack; AHL affiliate of the New York Rangers, the Big East Conference Women's Basketball Championship, and the home away from home for the 2004 NCAA Basketball Champions, University of Connecticut Men's and Women's basketball programs.
